The Parent Club

Future parents are far from knowing everything about pregnancy, they often have a question who needs an expert to answer, reassure them or orientate them on what to do.

Booking an appointment for only one question can be time-consuming and too heavy for something an expert can quickly answer and share with others.

Creating a question platform where parents can pay experts for individual questions by giving a cut to the platform. The Parent Club helps users with a dashboard for managing their questions.

The expert profile gives detailed information about their experience, specialties, and previous answers.

In order to understand the space further and create the right solutions, I had to be able to empathize with many different parents, future parents and experts. The initial research for this project began by simply interviewing parents and experts of different backgrounds. After over 10 discussions with a multitude of different profiles, my understanding of the problem became much more clear and defined.

These were some of the recurring points:

• Too much time and stress being spent on appointments.
• An overload of information is overwhelming to tackle.
• Difficulty to trust information found online.

Using the primary and analytical research, specific personas were created to use as the target profile for who I was designing for.

Following the research phase, I focused on creating a general flow chart for the product. This allowed me to visualize how the entire product would work from a wider point of view. Furthermore, completing this process early on allowed me to quickly build on the overall product when needed.

I started sketching out different possible solutions with a few questions to keep in mind. Some of these questions included:

• How can make the information quickly accessible for everybody?
• How can the website be accessible for both the expert and the user?
• How can I build a seamless platform that parents can familiarize themselves with quickly?
